On Sunday, April 22nd, Earth Day, join the Trans-American team in Ann Arbor for the 2012 Earth Day Festival at the Leslie Science & Nature Center (1831 Traver Rd, Ann Arbor). The event will be held from 12 noon until 4 pm, and Boris will be speaking at 1:15 pm and again at 2:15 pm.
There are lots of activities planned for the afternoon in addition to the chance to meet up with Boris and Anna, including guided nature hikes, raptor and reptile exhibits, and plenty of recycling and environmental demonstrations. The event is hosted by the Environmental Educators Network of Washtenaw County — thanks to Mary Sell of the Clean Energy Coalition and the rest of their Earth Day Committee for all their hard work in setting up this event.
On Wednesday, April 11th, join the Trans-American team and GreenPedals on for a presentation, discussion, and hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Meet us at 6 pm at the GreenPedals store location at 105 Annapolis Street, Annapolis, Maryland.
